Laser Facial or Leg Thread Vein Removal

Facial thread veins are tiny blood vessels that run close to the surface of the skin.  They look like thin red or occasionally purple or blue lines. They appear when blood vessels become enlarged which causes the veins to appear broken. The medical term for them is telangiectasia.

There are a number of causes including overexposure to the sun, drastic changes in weather,  excessive alcohol consumption, hormonal changes such as pregnancy, sudden changes in pressure such as severe vomiting or sneezing, or they may simply be genetic. This heat will cause the vein to break down and collapse in on itself which may present as some bruising on the skin’s surface. The damaged vein gradually dissolves and is removed through the body’s natural immune system, leaving the skin smooth and clear.
